We Believe

We believe in

The Holy Trinity

We believe that there is only one God, living and true, creator and sustainer of all things. And in the unity of this divinity there are three persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three people are one in eternity, deity and purpose, of infinite power, wisdom and goodness.

The Holy Scripture

We believe that the Bible is the written word of God, inspired only by the Holy Spirit. The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments constitute the authoritative report of God's revelation, and are completely true in all their statements. It has been faithfully preserved and its truth demonstrated in human experiences. The Bible, our rule of faith and conduct, has authority over all human life. She teaches the truth about God, his creation, his people, his only Son, and the destiny of all humanity. It also teaches the way of salvation and the life of faith.

The Human Being

We believe that God created human beings in his own image, innocent, morally free and responsible to choose between good and evil. Because of Adam's sin, the human being is corrupted in his very nature, so that from birth he is inclined to sin and is incapable of restoring his relationship with God and achieving salvation through his own merits.

The Salvation

We believe that the Almighty God provides all the means of the Trinity to make it possible for human beings to respond to his grace by faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Jesus Christ offered himself once and for all as the only perfect sacrifice for the sins of the entire world, which is sufficient for satisfaction for sin and the redemption of humanity. This salvation is the result of the work of regeneration carried out by the Holy Spirit in each person and God offers it freely to everyone who believes in Him and covers all the spiritual and physical aspects and needs of the human being.

Church

We believe that the Church is created by God; she is the people of God; Christ Jesus is your Head and your Lord; the Holy Spirit is his life and his power. The Church is both divine and human, heavenly and earthly; ideal and imperfect. It is an organism, not a static institution. The Church exists to fulfill the purposes of God in Christ. In it, redeemed believers celebrate the life and permanent presence of Christ through praise and adoration, participation in the only two sacraments instituted by God: Baptism and the Holy Supper, the preaching of the gospel, the study and teaching of the Word of God. The government and ministries of the Church are developed through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, who imparts his gifts to each believer for the edification of the Body of Christ and the satisfaction of human needs.

The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the return of Christ is certain and can occur at any time. He has not given us to know the time. Upon His return, He will fulfill all the prophecies concerning His final triumph over evil. The believer's reaction must be one of glorious expectation, permanent vigilance, spiritual preparation and diligent service.

The Last Things

We believe that God created human beings in his own image, innocent, morally free and responsible to choose between good and evil. Because of Adam's sin, the human being is corrupted in his very nature, so that from birth he is inclined to sin and is incapable of restoring his relationship with God and achieving salvation through his own merits.
